Rohköstler are work-shy. An impression that you almost can not escape if one has moved in a while the scene. It is too tempting to limit their needs to a minimum, but to stretch the (empty) stomach in the sun and let the world revolve solely around themselves. But there is another way. Still, or again, there are people jumping over his own shadow and create something. A special, just like pretty modest example of this I was able to meet in early February Mitterteich (headquarters of Life Food Germany AG).

Am Anfang ging es nur darum, während ihres Studiums zu überleben. Der Biomarkt in Tschechien war zu der Zeit winzig, es fehlte vieles. Sie fing damit an, Gerstengras an Einzelhändler zu verkaufen. Kurze Zeit darauf gründete sie eine GmbH und brachte weitere Dinge, die es auf dem dortigen Markt nicht gab, wie Seegras und Kakaobohnen, in die Läden. With articles in the trunk of their old cars, they rattled off the business. After about a year they invented the first self-produced product. After the outsourced production was not happy, she mixed it. The result was delicious raw chocolate. A separate production was never an issue for them because she was afraid of all the problems associated with it. Ultimately, he was no other choice and they rented an old bakery. The first locally produced products were dried fruits. In the second year they had already set the first employees because there was so much work. In the third year continued to grow Life Food and was, together with the Czech government, the first time at Biofach in Nuremberg (International Trade Fair for organic products) represented. At the end of the year a new production facility in Prague came for the chocolate to what, however, proved too complicated. She found there no people who could convert their recipes precise enough. Finally she was able to find these types of people in Slovakia, where now are the delicious varieties of "80% Cocoa", "hemp", "Orange", "cherry-nut" and "Cashew" produced. On their second
Biofach last year she realized that it was time to expand on the English and German markets, as the Czech is too small to feed them and their employees. On the Rohvolution she met Nelly Reinle Carayon-know and eventually Clement Reif, who was in search of tasty Rohköstlichkeiten that he wanted to drive in Germany. He is important that health and pleasure need not be a contradiction, and to show that raw food has nothing to do with renunciation. He founded the Life Food AG Germany, which sees itself as a pure sales organization and holds shares in the Czech parent company.

Dort sind die Leute wohl einfach noch nicht reif für die neue Lebensform. Eventuell käme als nächstes Skandinavien und Österreich an die Reihe.
Mittlerweile beschäftigt Tereza 12 Leute in der Tschechei. Wichtig ist ihr die Freude, die ihr diese Arbeit schenkt. In fünf Jahren würde sie gerne soweit sein, zumindest die Wintermonate in tropischen Ländern verbringen zu können. Ihr Wunsch ist es, dass die Firma ohne sie zurecht kommt und sie sich voll auf die kreative Tätigkeit (neue Rezepte) konzentrieren kann. Im Moment hängt all the administrative work still to her and her boyfriend.
