June 6: Concert 2 and 3 of 4! EL CAFE!
morning I'm back up this morning ... it was clean up and prepare for lunch because my parents had themselves announced that they would listen to the concert and simultaneously take my stuff to Germany!
came after German punctuality but only at twelve twenty ... for drinks, there was a suuuuper delicious "punch"! Elderberry syrup with champagne, lemon, ice cubes and an elder-blossom! Real awesome! The
stressful time something because I at a quarter before two meetings already had. For starters, there were perch fillet with salad-not bad! Then it went on with roast beef, potatoes and mushrooms! Not bad: D but then I was a little stressed because I had to throw myself into the costume and even then still come on time ... my dad has drove to the media-retirement home. The costume was not this time, the folk costume, but the black, floor-length burgundy dress with a red accessory! The retirement home had a huge anniversary today and we sang. In addition, for the weekend was also still an Romanian choir at our guest choir. The Romanians were so too. After a short voice warm the Romanians were the first turn and then we do. We sang, especially the traditional songs that have touched the old people total, and treated again in the childhood! The final song was the best ... I only say El Café! The party song with some improvised stuff ... there was already tuning up! Then there was a small aperitif and we, therefore, the two choirs together went to college, where we ate then. It was cold plates and we ate in the cafeteria. After that we again went to our normal rehearsal room at school so this and the durchzusingen. My Mood was really very good - I had been so long looking forward to this weekend - even the not so good weather could not drag me down! : D It went back to church around a common song to sing with the Romanians and was at one time and already half-eight and the concert started! Our choir has brought to the church back from college and we had to listen first to the Romanians. My parents came with my host family! I was frankly not very impressed by the choir, in particular because all the songs accompanied by the organ. Well .. you can always find something to do ^ ^
When were finished there was a fifteen minute break and we have prepared us and we were off! On the stage! The introductory text to the concert was super great. The concerts were indeed a bit of the results that we have brought from Venice, and so has Philippe, the director, again taken the journey together to understand ... with things that only the chorus was ... that was great, it was straight back into the atmosphere by Venice. It is such a great feeling ... and it was great to sing ... we have again made a small "stage show", ie for the folk songs. Unfortunately we were not even in costume and in black / burgundy came from something one is already ridiculous ... but it has lightened the mood well. A game was also from the countries of the exchange students. From Germany was the farewell song von Brahms gesungen. Genial!
